We wish all of our sales to be successfully & pleasantly concluded, so in order that there are no misunderstandings, please read the terms of sale and warranty details below.

TERMS OF SALE:

RETURN & REFUND POLICY:
There are only two circumstances where I will entertain a return of the item purchased, and a refund of the net sale price, excluding freight (postage), insurance:
These are:
1. If there has been a material error in description. (e.g. I have overlooked or failed to state damage or restoration.)
2. If I have made a material error in dating (of an antique item, including exquisite reproduction item.), and that error is evidenced in writing by one of the authorities referred to in the following "Warranty On Antiques".
And in either case, the right of return for refund expires 30 days after the date the sale concluded.
This gives any of our customers sufficient time to get any scientific or other independent testing done so as to satisfy themselves as to the authenticity of the antique items and the quality of other items that they have purchased.
Also please note that you are buying under the law. The sale is final. If you choose to pay by the Credit Card option, you are deemed to have accepted these terms of sale. (except if you have made any mistakes in the purchase, if this happens, please let us know timely.)

WARRANTY ON ANTIQUES:
In the past I have guaranteed the description of every item sold, except those few items which I sell that are outside my area of expertise, (and these are clearly stated).
However, owing to a few demands and expectations, I have been obliged to qualify this guarantee. The guarantee now expires 30 days after the sale end date, and refunds will only be made if any claims made in that 30 day period, and this must be supported by written statements which challenge my dating and quality assertions, from either:
(a) Christie's or Sotheby's Asian Art specialists, or
(b) A curator of Oriental arts at any major museum, or
(c) A certificate of authenticity issued by the Hong Kong Art Craft Merchants Association.
(d) A recognized testing laboratory using recognized scientific testing procedures.(e.g. Thermoluminescence).
Refunds are limited to the gross sale price (excluding shipping and insurance).

IMPORT LICENCES, SALES TAXES, V.A.T, G.S.T. etc
It is the buyer's responsibility to verify that their puchase are legal and in some cases the goods purchased are permitted imports to their country as hand made art item, and to pay any taxes or import duties thereon.
